New PS Plus Premium Retro Games Have a Couple of Platinums to Collect 1

As is the case with most (but not all) PS Plus Premium retro releases, stone-cold classics Myst and Riven have launched with a couple of Platinum pots for you to collect.

While both of these games were arguably more popular on Mac and PC, their PS1 ports introduced them to a massive new audience of players.

These were truly acclaimed titles at the time of their release in the early 90s, delivering a first-person puzzle experience that may look dime a dozen in this current era of indie games, but was unlike anything else at the time.

The Trophies in Myst will require you to complete the game in its entirety, and given the game’s age these days, you can find a full walkthrough here. You’re looking at about five hours if you do use guides.

Riven has more gongs overall, but again, it’s a similar situation where you’ll need to playthrough the title in its entirety to achieve 100%. You can find another excellent walkthrough here.

Will you be going for the Platinums in either of these titles? Embrace the retro goodness in the comments section below.
