In some ways you’ve got to feel for the makers of Invincible VS. Make no mistake: this game looks good – but it’s no Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, is it? That’s a tough act to follow.
The game’s being published by Skybound Games and developed by a new studio named Quarter Up, which is comprised of ex-Killer Instinct staff. It’s due out in 2026.
“Invincible VS is a brutal superhero three-versus-three tag fighting game set in the Invincible universe, where you can battle to the death as a team of fan-favourite characters in iconic locations,” the official blurb reads.
“Unleash bone-breaking combos through fast combat and smart defensive tactics to leave a trail of blood and destruction. Land vicious Super moves and Ultimates to leave your opponents in a mess of blood.”

It would be cool if the single player campaign was all the fighting I wanted in season 3 that they decided to just skip for a season. Though I suppose if it's based on the comic and not the show they can do that.
Allen the alien is my favorite character and he isn't in any of the 3 screenshots.
I got the impression Marvel Tokon was a complete surprise to even insiders so man, it must have hurt to see that trailer for this team.
It's even a tag team game!
Are we getting a Injustice 3 announcment soon as well? I dont think we need this many hero fighting games
That trailer looked like it was made in two days after the announcement of Marvel fighting.
Bet that was an awkward moment when Skybound and MS saw Marvel Tokon.
It is nowhere near to Marvel Tokon.
Damn marvel tokon will destroy this game sales wise feel bad for the company
@LordAinsley So some leakers actually knew about Tokon but they knew better not to leak it, because they would be enemy number one on the internet.
The trailer started looking amazing, like some open world game, perhaps an RPG, so I was gutted when it looks like just another average fighter. Pass
This looks sick. I'm glad Mortal Kombat is finally getting some competition with a super gory fighter.
Tokon has been the surprise reveal of the year for me. Arc's art design is just on another level to this.
Fighting looked really rough.
It seems like they felt they had to show this off in light of Marvel Tokon, but man it does not compare well.
Looks like a cheap mobile game ad.
Marvel Tokon makes this game looks like from two console generation behind. But i heard Invincible tv series is pretty popular so this game could get a decent audiences and popularity, especially right now there's no gory tag fighters beside MK 1.
Nonetheless, fans of tag based fighters are eating good with CvS Collection, Marvel Tokon, Invincible, and 2XKO.
Injusticevincible
Btw, what the heck does the VS even mean in this context? Why is there nothing coming after it? Its messing with my brain.
My impressions on the trailer? It looks bland and derivative
Even without the comparision to Marvel Tokon in mind, this looks just rough.
(Very late comment, I know.)
