You’ve heard all the jokes about the PS5 essentially being a GachaStation, and they’re all true. This couldn’t be more evident than with The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, a Genshin Impact-inspired open world game based on the popular manga.
“Explore a dynamic, open world Britannia teeming with secrets, formidable monsters, and breathtaking landscapes. Assemble a team of heroes with a wide array of abilities to explore Britannia together,” the press release teases.
In addition to combat and dungeons, there’ll be recreational activities like fishing and cooking. The game does legitimately look absolutely lovely, as proven by the trailer embedded above.
And it’ll launch as a console exclusive, as confirmed on the game’s official social media account. What’s not clear here is whether progress can be transferred seamlessly between the PS5 and PC and mobile versions. The wording suggests it may be a separate version, but we’ll check with maker Net Marble to get confirmation.

Gacha = auto pass
Not sure why Sony secures exclusivity for every mobile game
@Questionable_Duck
to gain a foothold in China, the most important market in the future. I don't like it either, but Sony is the only console manufacturer that understands how important China is.
@Questionable_Duck gacha are popular in China that is why Sony gets them

@Questionable_Duck they make crazy money thats why any gatcha nowadays makes more money than any AAA game
Played Infinity Nikki for 100hours, have had my fill of gacha shenanigans, so this is a pass on that merit alone. 7DS also went from peak to trash over its lifespan (except Escanor), so the theme also doesn't do it for me
