Gears of War: Reloaded, the remaster of a remaster of the 2006 Xbox 360 exclusive, is coming to PS5, and it still feels a bit weird to say that.

Fans were able to play the game on a PlayStation for the very first time last weekend, but unfortunately, it didn't go down very well, mostly thanks to technical woes.

In response, the second beta weekend will be a little longer and will include more content.

Developer The Coalition has announced refreshed details about the upcoming beta test on its socials:

Open to those who have pre-ordered the game, the second beta weekend now runs from 20th June at 12pm PDT / 3pm EDT / 8pm BST to 22nd June at 9pm PDT / 12am EDT* / 5am BST*, extending the beta with an extra nine hours.

Also, as well as casual Team Deathmatch and competitive King of the Hill, players will also get to play competitive Execution mode.

The second beta weekend will include maps Gridlock, Raven Down, Gold Rush, Courtyard, War Machine, and Canals.

Hopefully the technical side of things will be improved the second go around.

Gears of War: Reloaded is scheduled to launch on 26th August 2025, so if you're not able to try out the beta, it's not too far off for the main release.
