If you’re not familiar with The Quintessential Quintuplets, it’s a moderately popular romantic manga and anime series in which hopeless protagonist Futaro Uesugi is hired as a tutor for five identical sisters with various personalities.
A new game – The Quintessential Princesses: Fantasy, the Abyss, and the Magic Academy – takes that general premise and adapts it to a magic school setting, where you’re tasked with training five hopeless sorceresses, who just so happen to be the daughters of a nobleman.

This is a first-person dungeon RPG, similar perhaps to the original Phantasy Star games on the SEGA Master System. The game will launch on 18th September in Japan for both the PS5 and PS4, but there’s no confirmation of a Western release just yet.
