Elena, first introduced in Street Fighter 3: New Generation, is days away from making her Street Fighter 6 debut.

The Kenyan capoeira combatant is as agile as ever in this gameplay demonstration, using her long legs to unleash devastating damage. She seems particularly adept at closing distances, and unleashing swift combos before breaking away.

Perhaps one interesting wrinkle here is that when using a Level 2 Super Art, you’ll have the ability to transition into a healing state, which will do less overall damage but will increase your HP. It’ll be interesting to see how that’s balanced overall.

Personally, we’ve always been big fans of Elena in previous games, so we’re happy to see her included here in Capcom’s latest game. This also rounds out Year 2 of the publisher’s post-release support, so we’re particularly excited to see which characters it adds next.
