Anyone nostalgic for the glorious freerunning action of Mirror's Edge might be interested in Rooftops & Alleys: The Parkour Game, which has now been confirmed with a release date for PS5.
The game is scheduled for release on 17th June, 2025.
Rooftops & Alleys has been in early access on Steam for almost a year, where it has an Overwhelmingly Positive player rating.
It's a parkour action title being developed by a single person. It features multiple maps, which you can explore in free roam either alone or with friends in online multiplayer.
With both a first and third person perspectives available, the whole game centres around exploring each map with your parkour abilities, aiming to beat specific challenges, rack up high scores with various tricks, and playing games such as tag or capture the flag.
It also appears you can fly around as a pigeon, so it has that going for it too.
The game sort of looks like the child of Mirror's Edge and Skate, and that sounds like a pretty cool combo to us.
Anyway, it's coming out relatively soon on PS5 — what do you make of Rooftops & Alleys? Hop into the comments section below.

It looks great, along with Storror Parkour Pro.
I should probably revisit Mirror's Edge too, haven't played it since launch.
It's a platformer then 😃
Looks fantastic. Loved Mirrors Edge, got the plat for both, it just clicked with me.
Mirrors Edge. Love it. This look like a mobile game. Don't love it.
I never heard of this game and I didn't know it was early access on Steam. I'll have to get my hands on it.
Missing the cyberpunk dystopian atmosphere of Mirror's Edge which is crucial.
Looks fun, if the price is right I'd get it.
been playing on and off since the early access launch on steam and the game is GAS. definitely just a fun pick-up-and-play game that you can mess around in for a while. Will definitely pick this up on PS5
Looks great, thanks for the heads up.
Have it on Steam... Game is very much an indie game, be aware of that PS fans
