Leila is an upcoming narrative puzzle game about a middle-aged woman struggling to find peace in her life, narrated by the titular Leila. It was just announced for PS5 and PS4 and will launch on 17th April.
This self-biographical story will have players diving into Leila's memories and reliving moments from her past, presented in gorgeous and surreal hand-drawn 2D artwork and animation. Delving deeper into her memory and psyche, Leila will confront pivotal moments from her past, with players exploring the reasoning behind these decisive moments, gaining deeper context and understanding along the way.

Gameplay will involve elements inspired by point-and-click adventure games, as well as thought-provoking puzzles meant to symbolise the hurdles Leila herself had to overcome. It's quite a unique pitch, and a very personal one; just one of the reasons why indie games must be protected at all costs.
What do you think of Leila? Does it sound like it might be up your alley, or perhaps it's too navel-gazey for your tastes? Explore your own feelings in the comments section below.

Seems fair, very presentation to attract audiences trailer then clear if it's per scenario or just showing key events for the sake of the trailer.
Not my thing but I do appreciate Indie adventure games a lot they do some really cool stuff.
Looks interesting! If it’s cheap I’ll be interested, looks like it won’t be long but possibly a memorable one.
I would use the trailer instead! Gives a better sense of the game in my opinion.

Looks like it could be an interesting game!
This looks really cool! I've been playing a lot of action games recently and an adventure game like this looks like a great change of pace.
Nicely done trailer. I like ending it on "that's enough, the rest is spoilers."
I'm worried it's going to feel like being part of someone's therapy session, and I'm not sure that's going to vibe for me. But it does look like something that would appeal to a lot of people - I may point my kids at it.
