Ghost Town Games, the tiny development studio behind the Overcooked series, has just announced its brand new title. It's called Stage Fright, it's another co-op experience, and it's being published by Hello Games.

Two players can play together locally or online, and while it's quite different to the chaotic cooking sim, it builds on the core cooperative gameplay that made Overcooked special. Stage Fright features "Overcooked style chaotic moments mixed with escape room style cooperation".

The setting is described as "Luigi's Mansion meets Overcooked", while there will also be a more involved story "with a real heart".

Little else is known about the game as yet, so we'll just have to keep the trailer running on repeat until more is revealed.

As big fans of the Overcooked games, we'd been wondering what the team has been up to, so we're pretty excited about this one.
