Update 8/12/23: The rumour was true! Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake is real, and it's coming to PS5 on 28th February, 2024. You can watch the debut trailer above. Are you excited to hop back into this one?

Original Story: Here we go again β€” the ever-reliable billbil-kun has dug up another impending game announcement. Posting on X (formerly and preferably known as Twitter), the leaker has suggested Josef Fares' debut game is making a comeback.

Yes, it appears Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is set to return in a remake:

Little is known about this rumoured project, only that it'll apparently be announced soon β€” presumably at The Game Awards β€” and will be published by 505 Games, which brought us the original too.

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons first launched on PS3 in 2013, and was then ported to PS4 two years later. It's a single-player game in which you control the titular brothers simultaneously as they journey to help their dying father. If this rumour is true, we're curious to see what a remake version can add to the experience.

Either way, it's an interesting possibility, and not one we'd ever have thought of. Would you be interested in a potential Brothers remake? Tell us in the comments section below.
