Marvel's Spider-Man 2 PS5

It's a pretty predictable result, but Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is indeed the most downloaded PS5 game for the month of October. The superhero sequel has swung straight to the top of PS Store's PS5 charts in both North America and Europe. The likes of Assassin's Creed Mirage and EA Sports FC 24 give it a run for its money, while Alan Wake 2 just about cracks the top five — in Europe, at least.

Over on the PS4 chart, EA's football title is top in the EU chart, but it's Rockstar's Red Dead Redemption 2 claiming number one in the US. Aside from that, it's more or less business as usual, with old faithfuls like Minecraft, GTA V, and Madden NFL 24 in the mix.

Beat Saber comes top in the US on the PSVR2 charts with The Dark Pictures: Switchback VR, while for Europe it's the same top two in reverse. Finally, Roblox has claimed the throne on both free-to-play charts — another result to be expected.
