It’s been a little time since we heard about free-to-play racer KartRider: Drift, but just like Overwatch 2 and LE SSERAFIM recently, publisher Nexon is calling upon the power of k-pop to put the release back in the limelight. And it’s not short-changing players with Kep1er or ALICE here: it’s bringing out the big guns, with a BLACKPINK crossover that’s sure to have a positive impact on the game’s active player base.

From today, you’ll be able to unlock two chibi-style skins of each member, including Jennie, Jisoo, Rosé, and Lisa. They’ll also get their own emotes, decals, and even a brand-new kart, the Venom Supercar. Anyone who logs in can also earn a Balloon Pack free of charge. The game really wants to make you The Happiest Girl. (Or guy, we guess!)

It’s not all BLACKPINK this season, however, as there’ll be a total of eight new tracks, including the brand new Moonhill area, which is “a vast and vibrant metropolis with sprawling skylines, winding tunnels, and busy streets”. And, of course, there’ll be a new Racing Pass too, as well as various login rewards. But is this content drop enough to convince you to Kiss and Makeup with the game?
