The next Guilty Gear Strive DLC character has been officially announced, to release on the 6th April alongside a new stage. As many fans predicted, Bedman is (kind of) returning, although he's now called Bedman? (complete with the question mark) and he seemingly is the bed this time around.
It's a fun twist, because he fights alongside another character who features in the game's updated story mode, albeit briefly. She's called Delilah, and she's Bedman's younger sister.
Developer Arc System Works has also confirmed that a third season of DLC for Guilty Gear Stive is now in development. If your favourite characters still haven't come back (Johnny? Slayer?), there's hope yet!

I genuinely want to get into this game but I don't know what it is with fighting games that makes me so nervous about fighting other players.
@Nepp67 It’s on Gamepass now. Mentioning it because I know a lot of people here use it.
Fair warning though, since the Game Pass release servers have been overloaded and can be barely functional at times. I’d assume this will be fixed soon but it’s currently far from ideal.
I kind of prefer the original Bedman design myself. There was something strangely satisfying about fighting as a dude in a coma with a weird monster bed instead of just being a monster bed. He was actually the character that made me try Guilty Gear in the first place because I'd never seen such a strange fighting game character design and he just caught my attention instantly! 😄
Still, cool to see him back in some capacity. I couldn't get into Strive but I'll root for anyone using Bedman? in tournaments!

@Voltan I bought it at launch for my ps5 after enjoying FighterZ in the story mode and was trying to main Ramlethal in the training mode and just kinda stopped there.
@Nepp67 Oh, I see. Well good news is that with game pass and crossplay there are a lot of players trying the game for the 1st time now, so you'll find someone on any level. If only the servers were more reliable.
