Judas PS5 PlayStation

Judas, the next game from the mind of auteur creator Ken Levine (of BioShock fame), won't be out for a while. Announced at The Game Awards this December past, we now have an extremely broad release window; expect the immersive sim sometime between now and March of 2025.

That's according to Take-Two's latest quarterly earnings report, which states that the publisher will release 87 games (delays notwithstanding) between now and the end of the fiscal year in 2025, with IGN confirming with CEO Strauss Zelnick that Judas will be among that number.

Little is known of Judas. Developed by Ghost Story Games, a studio founded by Levine following the closure of Irrational Games, we know the title will be a single-player narrative first-person shooter set in a sci-fi universe, and it looks a lot like a BioShock game. However, reports indicate a troubled development cycle, with Levine himself accused of being a "flawed manager". Expectations will be sky-high for this one, regardless, considering the pedigree of what came before, and we can't wait to see some proper gameplay.
