‘Tis the season to wrap up warm and use archaic language! ‘Tis also the season for fake fireplaces, because contemporary construction considers real ones hazardous! If you’re the type of person that looks to YouTube for a 4K video to make your living room feel that little more cosy, then by golly does Hogwarts Legacy have a treat for you!
Following on from the developer’s ASMR series, it’s now released four separate fireplace videos. These, rendered in full 4K from the PS5 and PS4 game, show each common room’s distinctive hearth in meticulous detail. Unfortunately, these don’t come with ambient wood crackling sounds, and at just four minutes you’ll need to loop the video yourself, but YouTube has tools for that these days.
We don’t know about you, but we’re feeling warmer already! (Well, that’s probably because the arctic conditions have temporarily subsided outside, we suppose.)

I’m a Ravenclaw according to their online tests. Good to see where I’ll be hanging out (although I’m a bit jealous of gryffindor)
Anyone else a little disappointed by the lack of magical things in these four? Gryffindor has a moving suit of armour but where's all the other small magical moments that make up this Wizarding World?
From what I saw these could almost be a fireplace in any game.
Really really hope we get a stable 60fps mode and with a 4k dynamic scaling option. Like GoW Ragnarok had plenty of options that was really nice.

Pretty neat-o. Would be cool if it didn't have the music and just the fireplace sounds but there are other videos that fill that gap.

@nessisonett Belgium 2019, 40°C for two days straight at a festival. I've never looked forward to sunset more than I did back then.
super hyped for this game! one of my most anticipated video game after Elden Ring (and GOW Ragnarok). The broom and hypogriff flying looks insane and the 40 min showcase on their channel looks lit. Wish this could have released late December or early January, you know fitting the whole winter vibe (In my country, by Feb-March the winter is gone).
So they also miss Themes. Don't know why PS5 doesn't have them. And let people make their own I love downloading new ones on PS3
