PS1 game Syphon Filter 3 could be on its way to PS Plus Premium in the future as the classic shooter has been handed a new age rating in Korea. It adds to the list of older titles that appear ready to be rolled into the service, which includes Ridge Racer 2, Resistance Retribution, Dino Crisis and SoulCalibur: Broken Destiny. With Syphon Filter 3 now rated for PS5 and PS4, it will surely be included in a new future service update.
The series' third mainline entry isn't regarded as the best one, but it still continues the story of Gabe Logan. With Syphon Filter and Syphon Filter 2 already on PS Plus Premium, it'll give newcomers a chance to see what happens next.
PS5, PS4 users have generally been disappointed with the PS Plus Premium service so far, with just a single PS1 game added to the top tier (Syphon Filter 2) over the past few months. August notably didn't contain a single title for PS Plus Premium members, and last month's lineup only covered PS4 remasters and streamable PS3 games. Users will be hoping for improvements, with November 2022's selection set to be announced in the coming weeks.

@Dloki I mean, we can discuss whether Sony's doing enough with it, but the benefits are clear and obvious: you can stream games and you get access to a larger catalogue of games.
I agree it's not been anywhere good enough, but worth mentioning it's actually only £20 more per year than Extra.
On topic, though, I really enjoyed my playthrough of Syphon Filter earlier in the year, and while I need to get through Syphon Filter 2 first, I'll definitely play Syphon Filter 3 when I have time.
All three are fun games IMO.
Seeing 3 being added wouldn't surprise me. Seem like 1 and 2 was quiet popular in general when they dropped, at least outside of Premium.

The fact that Sony is struggling to get their own games on to this service lets you know just how little they care. At the very least, most of their classic 1st party titles should have been available from day one.
Well at least Bend remembers there's a premium tier to PS+.😄

Can someone send Sony a memo that states 'variety is the spice of life'. Needless to say with these rumours I now fully expect no update this month to the PS Premium classics catalogue
One of my favorite series on the PS1 that has aged like buttermilk. Practically unplayable in this day and age, which hurts to say.
@GuyProsciutto Have to agree with this, i tried syphon filter when i first got premium and ill just say that nostalgia can be misleading lol. On the other hand im playing Jak X combat racing which ive never played and loving it

I bought all the 3 for the vita a year or 2 back, so I get them for free. Be Better Sony. Not that it means much coming from me.
Couldn't get into the first because the controls are too awkward so I didn't bother with the 2nd & this won't tempt me to resubscribe either their lack of commitment to the classics catalogue is truly shocking
@IslandLogic yeah surely it would make sense for them to atleast add the PS2 & PSP God of war titles this month with Ragnarok releasing
