In an official Call of Duty blog post, the show is described as an "era-defining franchise event". Modern Warfare 2 will be the main event, with a multiplayer reveal taking place during the show. There shall be live gameplay, innovations will be detailed, and a "multitude of your favourite streamers" will even be there to show the game off. This could be the rumoured DMZ mode part of Modern Warfare 2, which has recently leaked. Similar to popular PC title Escape from Tarkov, you may remember Battlefield 2042 tried a similar thing with Hazard Zone — in disastrous fashion of course. EA DICE has ditched all support for the mode now.
It sounds like there will be opportunities to earn Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 beta codes before and during the event, which is set to begin on 16th September 2022 for PS5, PS4 players. Will you be taking the latest FPS for a test run? Let us know in the comments below.
