Until today, GTA Online’s tropical Cayo Perico Island had been solely leveraged for heists – until now. As part of the latest GTA Online Weekly Update, developer Rockstar has added an entire new series of races all around the idyllic resort – and there’s double GTA$ and RP rewards up for grabs if you participate over the next seven days.
“Take to the dirt roads, waterways, and skies of a tropical island paradise — the new Cayo Perico Series introduces 10 new Races around El Rubio’s fortified compound and the surrounding beaches,” the Rockstar Newswire reveals. “In keeping with the tropical theme, log in to play GTA Online this week and receive the Keinemusik Cayo Perico Tee at no charge.”
Cayo Perico Island always had beautiful scenery so it’s nice to see it repurposed like this. Will you be hitting the roads and going for gold?
