PS1 fighter Tekken 2 has just been re-released on the North American PlayStation Store. The classic beat-'em-up is included with a subscription to the new PS Plus Premium tier, but those looking to buy it standalone quickly found an issue with the asking price.
For some reason, what seems to be a PS Store bug has set the US price at $9,999.00. Don't get us wrong, we love a bit of Tekken, but that's extortionate.
The price was pointed out to series boss Katsuhiro Harada on Twitter, who promptly blamed Sony for the error:
It's just funny to see a $9,999 price tag on the PS Store, really. Hopefully it's been fixed, and hopefully nobody actually paid it. We're pretty sure that you're entitled to a refund if you did!

It includes season pass 1 and 2, but not 3 and 4.

Look i love free upgrades because free is good but i'm not entitled to them like i wasn't entitled to free copies of the The Dark Knight Trilogy when i upgraded to the 4K versions. I bought these games on PS4 and the deal was i got them on PS4, i was never promised more.
Gamers are a weirdly entitled bunch who just expect everything to be giving to them for nothing. I mean people are moaning they can't upgrade the Plus version they own of RE7 despite never paying a penny for it anyway.
@WallyWest games are not movies, you forgot that the pc version of gta v for example is superior to even the ps5 version of gtav, and yet ps5 owners need to pay for the game again, this would never be smth that exists on pc, only ps fans consider this a normal thing, also, this isn't the ps3 to ps4 era where games were not backwards compatible so it was understandable. Now it's just a matter of cranking the settings and resolution and voila you have a ps5 version. For nothing? people paid for those games, and ps+ users paid for ps+
@OthmaneAD People paid for PS4 games not PS5 games, when i bought GTA 5 on PS4 i wasn't told or promised that years later i get the PS5 version for free if i got it and no releasing PS5 versions isn't just a case of cranking up settings as its no where near that simple. When i bought The Dark Knight on Blu Ray back in 2008 i wasn't buying the 4K version that came out years later, yes it is the same its just gamers have this entitled attitude and expect life to constantly give them free things. If we get free upgrades then awesome but we were never entitled to them, Sony haven't said the PS6 version of Returnal is free for me so i'm not expecting it. Let's be honest the only reason free upgrades are happening is because MS forced the hand by promising it with their games, if they didn't do that then free upgrades wouldn't exist and everyone would buy them and not care like they did last gen with the endless remasters of PS3 games
I feel sorry for anyone who actually bought the glitched price, hopefully Sony refunds them.
