Baseball is quite possibly the worst teams sport on planet Earth.

If they put it on PC by the time I get my SteamDeck It will make my year. Loved last years, see if they keep it up.

@Col_McCafferty what? Not even close. Worst team sport is Netball. You get the ball and have to stand still?! 😆😆 a zero skill sport! Well unless you count catching a netball travelling at a relatively slow pace a skill to be impressed by.

Forgot is was about time for this year's game. I'd guess Ohtani for the cover no doubt. Interested to see if the release is the same as last year. Would be a great boost for 'Spartucus" if it released day one like GP but I doubt that'll happen. Either way I'm sure my kid will put another 500 hours into it this year too!

MLB have said they want be multi-platform right? So Sony should drop this and let someone else have it to free up their studio to make an actual EXCLUSIVE

Doesn't matter which new developer gets the MLB licence as it would still be coming to playstation consoles.

Ohtani would make sense! There’ll definitely be a Big Papi edition as well. Bit concerned though, the lockout means there could end up being a game with zero season.

@Col_McCafferty I'm with you one on this one, Microsoft are keeping their exclusives to themselves and here's sony making a game that's also going to xbox. The team behind this could be making a different game that is exclusive to playstation instead

It should be a blank cover since it seems likely there won't actually be a MLB season this year cause of the labor dispute.

Why does the placeholder graphic for cover player look like it's a dramatic murder scene against the frosted glass in front of the camera? Who actually approved that image?! That's just awful. I suppose it could be a....er....steamy scene as well. But the question still applies.

@UltimateOtaku91 The problem is it's Sony's #1 seller though. For "fans' it seems like it's silly to have a team making a multiplat sports game when they could be making a 15-30 hour action adventure fantasy sci-fi that sells 1/4 the copies. From a business position, why on earth would they kill their best seller?

I defend Sony a lot but I don't understand this, unless they're playing the long game and this will end up being one of the few studio games that ends up day one on Spartacus.

Baseball is fine as a sport but its nothing special its really a US thing i believe its almost impossible to buy it in the Netherlands most shops dont even sell it.
