This is always a huge moment for development teams. With years of hard work behind them, developers can finally sit back and relax...well, not really. Plenty of talented people at Guerrilla Games will be sticking with Forbidden West for some time yet, grafting away on updates or potential DLC, while others may move on to new projects.

Great news.
Right, better get my pre-order in now. Going physical with this one, seen it advertised for around £60 which I'm fine with paying for the sequel to one of my favourite games of the PS4 gen.

@frankmcma When I look at the store page now, it lists these two items (unlocked via story progression), so I'm guessing they just hasn't nailed down their terminology yet. Now that its gone gold, they seem to have updated stuff.
Pretty much bought my PS4 in anticipation for first game and have played 100's of games since then. So thanks Sony, I guess for the thousands of hours of entertainment you have provided for me since 2016. Can't wait to play Forbidden West!

Where's the best place to get this ordered so it's guaranteed to be delivered early on or before release date. Previous purchases have been turning up at 8pm! Which is what was guaranteed but that's a long load of hours in frustration

Hard to say but generally sonys triples A games have no day one patch, at least God of war, ghost and last of us 2 didn't. But like only 3 weeks to find out !

I went ahead and went with the PS5 version.
I wanted the PS5 version on the disc instead of having to download it. Saves on bandwidth. I have a 350 gig per month cap.

I usualy get this kind of discount in my country trough a deal of trading a used game and it´s always between 25€ to 30€, sometimes 35€ in total, wich is pretty nice.
