One of the best bits about Dreams is when it plays host to special in-game events. In the summer we had the return of DreamsCom, in which community creations were put on display in an amazing trade show-style setting. Now, though, the spooky season is upon us, and that means the return of the game's excellent Hallowe'en special, this year named All Hallows' Dreams: Ghost Train.

Another collaboration between Media Molecule and the game's community, this year's scary celebration introduces a haunted fairground, in which you'll find all sorts of tricks and treats. The headline attraction is the titular Ghost Train. The train will take you through various user-made tracks, and it sounds like the focus will be on score-chasing shootouts. "Choose your path across the ghost train’s many rails, shoot targets to set high scores and enjoy scares galore," the PlayStation Blog post reads. You'll even be able to play in PSVR, if you fancy.

Elsewhere, users have carved pumpkins and made scarecrows for the in-game pumpkin patch, which was a fun addition last year and should be fun to walk around once again. That's not all, though, as this year's All Hallows' Dreams introduces quests and minigames to enjoy. Taking part in the carnival minigames and helping out a mysterious character will net you some Hallowe'en themed Imps, for example.

It all kicks off from 15th October, when you'll be able to explore the event for yourself. What's more, you can play All Hallows' Dreams: Ghost Train whether you own the game or not: the free trial will be updated to include the event.

If last year's event is anything to go by, this will be a frightfully good way to enjoy the holiday. Will you be booting up Dreams to check out this Hallowe'en event? Tell us in the comments section below.
