Just a heads up, demon slayers: id’s classic first-person shooter DOOM 3 launches on PlayStation VR today. The throwback shooter has been adapted for Sony’s headset with full PSVR Aim Controller support, allowing you to physically handle the franchise’s oversized arsenal within your hands. Yes, that means you can wield your very own BFG 9000.
In order to successfully convert the experience to virtual reality, developer Archiact has integrated the heads-up display into the weapons themselves, meaning you’ll be able to turn each gun in your hands to see how many bullets it has left and how your health is holding up. You can check out a launch trailer embedded above, or purchase the title from the PS Store now.

It'd be funny if when you boot this game up the Xbox Game Studios logo appears lol
Proof that Microsoft acquiring Bethesda is not so dramatic?
Doom 3 is certainly not my favorite in the series by any means but from my experience of this on Oculus, Doom 3 is one of the most atmospheric VR experiences around.
@PegasusActual93 Yeah I tried it not so long ago but couldnt get into it. The pace was very slow and the small corridors and level design got a bit tiresome. I think its a good fit for VR though
Just completed this on series x the other day. It’s a lot longer game than I thought it’d be. Got a bit tiresome to be honest but wouldnt mind trying this out in VR. Perhaps a demo would be enough for me?
I gave up about halfway through on the Switch version, but just got VR so might give it another shot.
