For Hitman 3, IO Interactive appears to be giving players more gameplay options than ever. The series is already stuffed with variety, but a couple of extra features look to be making the murderous sandbox even more diverse. The latest example: Agent 47's new camera.

The camera will be a default item the assassin brings into each stage. As you can see in the above clip from Game Informer, you'll be able to use it in a few interesting ways. Through the camera's viewfinder, you can spot tech you could tamper with, such as opening locked windows. You'll also be able to use it to gather more intel for your mission, which sounds pretty neat.

One other example given in the video mentions a possible path you can take in the Dubai location. One of the targets won't trust you unless you take care of somebody else first. Once you do the deed, you can take a picture of the body as proof so that the target will trust you. Cool!

While the camera seems to enable some interesting gameplay possibilities, it doesn't appear to offer a photo mode in the traditional sense. At the end of the video, we see that you can take pictures of whatever you like, and can adjust depth of field and apply simple filters, but isn't a "full-blown" photo mode as seen in, say, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
