DJ Diplo and Boxer Anthony Joshua Are in FIFA 21

EA Sports clearly has its priorities straight with FIFA 21 on the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, announcing that DJ Diplo and Anthony Joshua will cameo in the upcoming soccer simulation. This is the second time British boxer Joshua has cameoed in a game this year, after also appearing in EA Sports UFC 4 – another sport he’s not actively involved with.

To be fair, the new Volta Football Groundbreakers will see the addition of various famous faces from the world of football, fashion, and music – with some actual footballers among the roster. Beat the likes of Eric Cantona, Kaka, and Kylian Mbappé every week, and you’ll be able to add them to your squad. There’s a trailer embedded above.

@DonJorginho They just re-used the UFC 4 model. EA investing big in boxer models, despite Fight Night being dead since 2011.

@get2sammyb Still a farce though, FIFA has been neglected in terms of player faces recently, I am a proper OCD freak about them, if any player that isn't a new academy player has a fake face, they're sold!

@DonJorginho You should see the PES generic faces, they are truly abysmal!! At least FIFA's look vaguely human. I think it's because PES scanned faces are that much better than FIFA's that the difference between real and fake is so much more pronounced!

@ApostateMage Ryan Goggs was always my favourite and I am sure Van Nistelrooy had a great name too back in the day on PES I just can't remember what it was!!!
