GTA V Is Coming to PS5 with an Enhanced Edition, GTA Online Free for PS Plus Members

Might as well put it on PS5, it’s gonna sell like crazy I’m sure.

Enhanced with what it's just going to be the PC version with better graphics that's all I can think of, you get it free with PS5 on launch I think selling it again is beyond a joke now

GTA V is eternal.

From Rockstar's perspective this is brilliant.

GTA 5 is routinely in the top 10 of NPD and sometimes as high as 3rd despite coming out 7 years ago.

R* has made more money off of GTA 5 than all previous GTA games before it thanks to GTA Online.

The game is still their chief earner, it sells like crazy, they would be foolish not to re-release it on PS5.

Slap on some single player dlc, new gta online modes exclusive to ps5 and voila, the cash cow continues and GTA 5 hits 150 million copies sold by 2024

Wasn't to sure about this one really :-/ Loved the game and all that but was hoping for the next GTA game so it was a big disappointment at the beginning of this show showing just this. Oh well.

They say that you can't squeeze blood from a stone but hey look at you Rockstar, you continue to surprise me!

They will probably re release it on pc again at the same time because the only think this so called enhanced V2 will have it 60fps for console some sort of Ray Tracing to make the world looks better with light etc. And then have some sort of online story content with even more ways to sell over priced cars and buildings to get that nice shark card dough in. You think that given away 1 mill a month to PS4 players will be great it's nothing is 1 mill in this game.

This is kinda annoying. It just keeps selling. I had it for a short time. It was good for a laugh for a while, then it just gets annoying. The controls are diabolical and the graphics are subpart.

Worst part of gaming. Developers beating a dead horse over and over again to keep squeezing money out of people.

@ApostateMage Yep I'll probably triple dip although it'd be fair if it gets updated free once you have your PS4 physical/digital copy.

Enhanced? Being able to block calls from LJ freaking T and others would be a welcome enhancement to online play.

When this was shown originally I thought it was a new game..once I realized it's STILL GTAV I thought 'What a cr** start to the show!' Seriously I played this back on the Xbox 360 and thought it was the worst gta..it's so lazy and half assed to promote the PS5 version...quite shocked they chose this as the first game..

Total crap! I won’t get it on ps5 but GT7 & Rez Evil look awesome along with Demons souls.

I played it on 360 but didn't bother on ps4. I think I might get it for ps5.

Could end up being a pretty big deal to the casual market if they only need PS+ to play GTA Online without having to buy GTA: V.

If they added in single player content that we should have gotten instead of just updates to GTA Online then I might triple dip. But no new single player content, then I’m outttt.

This garbage killed the franchise for me, is embarrassing at this point. We have to suffer through three generations of it, I hope we get a Saints row soon 😐

This, new COD, new FIFA, NBA and Fortnite will be the main attraction for average consumers to buy PS5, I hate it but business is business

@AzlanWake13 Its 7 years and 3 generations now this should be GTA 6 now its a really sad. Is this PS5 gameplay if so yes it looks even more dissapointing. But with COD atleast its a new game atleast the important thing the singleplayer. Things like sports games yeah whats there too change.

Hope the ps4 copy runs via b/c mode-only interested in playing out its story mode someday,zero interest in bloatware expanding online mode where the Vice City skunkshack wooden shed probably costs 2 million plus! :-/

What is the new content? I have the game but never played it. Was gonna do it soon but I guess I could wait if it's worth and upgrade.

Hasn't everyone on earth bought a copy by now or at least multiples to cover for those that didn't? I don't even like GTA and I was disappointed for the series fans. Where is VI?

At least the PS5 will be backwards compatible with one PS3 game so that's something.
