We feel like we need to remind the world that Predator: Hunting Grounds is out today on PlayStation 4. It doesn't seem like anyone is talking about the first multiplayer-only title Sony has published in quite some time, with social media falling silent on the experience and Twitch viewership numbers which aren't exactly lighting the world on fire.
To be fair, the game hasn't exactly done much to whet our appetite in the lead up to launch either. Predator: Hunting Grounds felt incredibly lacking when we played it at EGX 2019, and a recent multiplayer trial didn't do much to change our thoughts. Nevertheless, we'll be playing it non-stop over this coming weekend and will have a review for you here on Push Square next week.

Went on Twitch earlier expecting it to be on the homepage from the off but had to actually search for it. Really wanted to give it a go but with everything going on but feel like it’s one of them games that will on sale after a month.
I played the open beta and was shocked at how poorly it ran for a Sony Semi Exclusive title.
The gameplay got boring after an hour, the Predator mechanics were fun and I enjoyed them but the actual map and the game itself bored me.
Hope it sells okay though, as I'm sure some people will love this.
Isn't this essentially a re-skinned Evolve?

Need a stable framerate to consider buying... Tried beta and really end dissapointed...
Just watched a Playstation Access stream of the five of them all playing together. It made for an entertaining watch but can't say it's something I'd be bothered in buying. And I'm a huge Predator fan. Maybe one day we'll get a decent single player story game with Pred but I doubt it will ever happen.
I was excited for this until the beta. I’d give it another go if it went free to play, but even then, the gameplay was pretty shallow.
Let's face it. They should have delayed this. 3-4 more months in the owen could do wonders...

Played the beta and i thought it was awful, also its got lootboxes so yeah skip for me.
Bought it because I semi enjoyed the beta and am a huge predator fan as well. Plenty customization to keep everything worthwhile for the time being. Finding a matchmaking game was complete garbage. 30 minutes in the predator que, another 30 for the fire team and around 15 for the I don’t care que. I would have settled for a revamped version of Aliens Colonial Marines.
Premise seems fun, execution nog so much 🙂
Watched vids of people playing as Predator. Each time they had to wait 45 mins. Same issue as playing Mastermind on RE Resistance
GARBAGE!!! Played the open beta and was very disappointed, this could have been a fun game or at least it could run well with mediocre game play, but it was horrible. Its already discounted at Game Stop.
I actually really like this game. Matchmaking is a mess right now, but I find it oddly endearing and addictive with a friend playing Commando.
Predator is pretty fun too, once you understand what to do, and when and where to be aggressive.
Played the beta, which was a bit of fun with friends.
Would only buy with a 50% price drop though.
