After an unexpected age rating sort of gave the project away, L.A. Noire: The VR Case Files has been confirmed for a PlayStation VR release. Better yet, it's actually out right now on the PlayStation Store following the State of Play announcement.

Originally released alongside the PC release of the 2017 remaster of one of Rockstar's finest, this VR spin-off rebuilds seven existing cases with new layers of immersion. We're sure you've all seen some of the hilarious gifs and memes showing off what happens when the experience goes wrong in virtual reality, but we have heard good things about the game overall.

L.A. Noire: The VR Case Files for PlayStation VR also delivers an enhanced technical experience specifically built for the PlayStation system including greater draw distance and upgraded visual fidelity; new sitting and standing modes (including a new “Crouch” button for easier object inspection); enhanced navigation, locomotion and weapon tuning.
