The final season of The Walking Dead has been in trouble since the dramatic shutdown of Telltale Games earlier in the year. Fortunately, the rest of the episodes will be released, as many of the original developers have joined forces with Skybound Games to finish off the season.
Following the Kinda Funny Games Showcase, we now know the release date for Episode 3: Broken Toys. As you can see in the above trailer, the penultimate chapter will release on 15th January 2019. There's no news regarding the final episode yet, but it should follow the third entry fairly quickly now that development is back on track.

Are you looking forward to continuing with The Walking Dead: The Final Season? Don't get bitten in the comments below.

I'm very interested to see if they're still using the Telltale engine or have moved on to something else. There wasn't any new footage in the trailer, so not really sure.
Awesome. Good to see this getting back on track so quickly. Fair play to all those involved
I always pick up the whole season once it’s finished, wonder if that will happen with this one.
Rising from the ashes.
good on them!
hope it does well.
@RBMango It's most likely the same engine as they said that EP. 3 was far into development.
i'll pick it up when the season is complete and all eps have been released, and not before.
I stopped playing when the episodes stopped, but now they are finishing I'll finish off where I left off once all of them are done and continue to play from there.
While this is good news, I can't help but think that when the season is finished, some people are going to dislike it so much that they wish that it was left unfinished.
I've noticed the trophies all have 0.1% next to them now so at least we know the trophies aren't bugged and that they will unlock.
