Catherine: Full Body is an enhanced and expanded remake of the strange PlayStation 3 puzzler, and it's coming to PlayStation 4 and PS Vita next year. It adds new endings, new scenes, new gameplay options, and, perhaps most importantly, a new character named Rin.
Alongside Catherine and Katherine, Rin seems to be the third candidate vying for main character Vincent's affection. Rin's also the focal point of the title's first trailer, which already has people speculating over what's shown. We won't go over the details here -- just give it a watch and you'll see what we mean.
The video also attaches a vague release window to Full Body -- at least in Japan. It'll be launching over there in Winter 2018, so... It's a while off yet.

LMAOOOOOOO rin is a trap HAAHHAAHHAAAH.
Atlus is going to have to be very careful here. They were already on thin ice with Erica.
I love Japan 😂😅 .
So shes ether packing some equipment down below or has the hairiest bush ever
Man, I remember really enjoying Catherine until I hit a proper wall 3 or 4 hours in and could not get past a puzzle for the life of me. It really put me off the game cause I was really enjoying the plot, but not the fact I'd have to start over if I wanted to just lower the difficulty, so I never went back. I'd like to give it another shot now, but it's still left a bitter taste in my mouth.
@Areus Astolfo - enough said
Given how... blatant... this tease is, I'm thinking she's not actually packing heat, and that this is just misdirection.
If it isn't misdirection... well, steel yourself for a flood of articles from tiny political websites that nobody has ever heard of.
I wonder what was so terrifying about her hoo-ha.
@Hapuc Or maybe she's transgender.
@SoulsBourne128 I'm betting she's a trap they already have Erica to fill that role.
@get2sammyb This. I really loved the first game but was disappointed with how they handled Erica. Hope it's not just a case of repeating the same trope twice and with even less subtlety. I'm willing to give them a bit of faith to see how it pans out, but yeah, a bit wary of how they proceed with this.
I'm still unsure what to make of this game. It might be something I'd really enjoy, or not, I can't tell.
I have not seen the trailer yet, but from the preview picture I already have a guess
@DrClayman I hope the normal difficulty isn't too hard, and we can change the difficulty anytime we want.
@get2sammyb
"We're not transphobic as that's not a dong, It's a phallic tentacle" probably won't cut it.
See, I want to like this game. But the gameplay just does not appeal to me at all.
didn't play it on ps3 and I'm honestly very surprised this is getting rereleased
Oh dear. Please be careful, Atlus.
Just gonna say. That chick ain't got no booty.
So Rin is male? So I guess his real name is Ren.
@get2sammyb erica?
@DrClayman I hit a similar problem. Think it's a great game but it has a fiendish difficulty spike. Still have it for my PS3 so definitely going to give it another go before it releases next year. May get it for my PSVITA rather than my PS4.
I'm buying this! Loved the original and it just came out if nowhere.
Couldn't care less if certain gaming websites start whining, it's fun.
One of my favourite titles on PS3, in fact, it was the last game I replayed before I packed my PS3 away.
I am so very excited for this remaster, the fact they are adding content just makes it even more exciting.....cannot wait.
I feel like Sony are delivering just for me at the moment, Odins Sphere was a dream of mine and the remake was incredible, then Wipeout and Crash, then Dragons Crown is announced and now Catherine. If I can just get a re-release of The Puppeteer my dreams will have come true!
