Sony may not be going crazy at Gamescom 2017, but the show’s in Germany so it seems like the ideal venue to showcase Gran Turismo Sport. And in addition to the game’s Limited Edition PlayStation 4 bundle, the platform holder’s also dropped this footage of the Nurburgring at night.
Now, we all know that Polyphony Digital’s latest is going to come in for some criticism due to its single player offering – or lack thereof. But one thing that can’t be criticised is its lighting – good golly, there are parts of this trailer that frankly look like real life.

Yeah, the sound of the cars was more impressive for me. GT has always looked gorgeous for its times.
Ugh I cannot wait for this game. Sadly I have a major work project planned that week
Stop toying with me Gran Turismo!
Looks good. Is that standard PS4 footage or PS4 Pro?
After all this time tho you'd have thought that PD would have realised that a robust single player is both wanted and needed. I was going to get this game until I found out the single player will be limited to say the least. Looks great but I'm not buying it to play bumper cars with other people online.
I'm fine with Sport not having much of a SP campaign anyway cos all they were tutorials and a bunch of races with poor AI. The online aspect was always the most intriguing part of it now that it's going to be curatored with players who will play the game like a proper motor racing event while those that like to just bump into each other will be paired with like minded players.
