Once again taking to Twitter, producer Akihiro Suzuki confirmed that the promised information is coming on the 11th May. However, as Gematsu notes, we'll likely get the juicy details before then thanks to Famitsu and Dengeki leaks. Soon!
All we know about Dynasty Warriors 9 right now is that it'll take advantage of open world elements, and this upcoming batch of news will no doubt expand upon that point. New playable character announcements seem pretty likely, too.

Finally! I really miss DW it's been a long time, even if SW is way better.
