We can pinpoint the exact moment we fell in love with Horizon: Zero Dawn: the training montage. The game very quickly goes all The Hunger Games on your ass, and you're rewarded with this brilliant cut-scene as Aloy readies herself for The Proving – a kind of coming of age event that's celebrated annually in Nora lore.
If you want to go into the game fresh then don't watch this cut-scene, but if you're still undecided whether the game's for you then it may well win you over; it's just on the cusp of being silly, so it's both endearing and entertaining. We love it.
Do you know which game also had a good training montage? Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time.

Hahaha when I finished the prologue I thought the same thing. I was singing Montage from Team America while it was going on.
Show a lotta things, happening at once,
Remind everyone of what's goin' on.
With every shot show a little improvement,
to show it all would take too long.
That's called a montage.
The only thing missing was the Rocky theme.
Push it to the limit!
I spotted a Raccoon early in the and was disappointed to find you didn't get a trophy called "You Sly Devil" for killing it.
Also the "Heart's on fire" montage from Rocky IV is still the best.
loved this part. just awesome.
It was an interesting intro sequence. I hate Hunger Games though, awful series of films.. I'm hoping this doesn't affect my enjoyment of this game lol.
This reminded me a little of Ciri at Kaer Morhen.

Not a fan of the Hunger Games either, but I'm loving what I've played of Horizon about 15 hours in.
I love the game but I keep wanting to read her name as "Alloy".
Yep your right.. I was blown away by that jump
