So here's something we weren't expecting, and from a rather unlikely place: a new trailer for The Last Guardian has been released at the GameStop Expo.
The footage features brand new locations and gameplay, which may help to suppress your disappointment over the game's recent delay just a little. We are a little surprised over how this came out of the GameStop Expo, though, and not Sony's Tokyo Game Show conference which happened only yesterday. This little glimpse of Trico more than deserves the big stage over in Japan.
Remember folks, we'll get our hands on this one from 6th December.

After looking forward to this for so long, I'm really afraid the game will be extremely dissapointing. I'll just stick to Neverending Story's flying dog for all my childhood wishes.
Looks awesome. Ico, SOTC - both great games, I can't see this falling short either. Yeah it won't be for everybody, and I expect the control system and camera to be.. A bit janky.. But yeah. Roll on Christmas
ICO made me literally fall asleep in my seat. This looks... similar. Don't mean to be negative, but I really don't see what the hype is about? Seems like a mediocre puzzle platformer?

This game has hype? WHERE? WHOOOOOOOOOOOO? I was under the impression that this and Gravity Rush 2 were so below the radar, you'll need a microscope to find it.
The Dogbirdcat will die and broke my heart, so when you guys beat the game please spoil to me, because I'll play only if the creature lives.

@get2sammyb I just tried to watch the video using the YouTube app on my phone and it's saying that the video has been removed by SIEA due to a copyright claim. I've got a screenshot but haven't got a clue how to add it to this thread lol
@Octane I laughed to be fair, I nearly said the same thing when I saw the video but thought I'd look stupid hahah.
@Punished_Boss_84 Sony must have read your post and removed the vid to prevent any hype from happening. "Can't have any trailers for our 7 years late game." It's back in the vault with Zelda:BotW.

I'm going into this cautiously. Early impressions from the demos have seemed a little disappointing. It may well end up living or dying on its story's D the emotional attachment to its main characters. As gameplay wise I don't think this is going to set the world on fire.
I have great memories of playing SOTC until 4-5am after finishing a late shift back when I worked in bars and whatnot. Love the dreamy ambience of it all.
Edit: apparently triangle is still jump so..yeah, the controls will be "fun" I suspect..
Super hyped for this one and I'm going to love it...even if it ends up being crap.

@kyleforrester87 I know this is incredibly silly but I loved triangle to jump in SotC. Every time I catch myself daydreaming about that game it's filled with an incessant desire to mash triangle to jump.
@sketchturner you know what, I do too - it's the same button in Deus Ex. I think its warning sign that the control scheme is going to be a bit odd in general though, so some other actions might be a bit of a pig to perform..
Also it can make it tough to play other games at the same time. I can't play No Mans Sky and another FPS, because NMS has r3 as sprint. Such a weird choice.
