Persona 5 is launching in North America on the 14th February 2017, and it'll be launching on that same day in Europe. Yep, you read that right - Europe won't have to wait for an Atlus game. It's like all of our dreams have come true.
And we've got Deep Silver to thank. The publisher announced that it was stepping in to bring Persona 5 to Europe back in July, and it's clearly taking its job seriously. What's more, the previously announced steelbook and premium editions of the release will also be heading to Europe on PlayStation 4.

I'm actually quite interested in This game, but I've never played a persona game before. Can anyone tell me about how it plays and if this is a good entry point into the series?

@Miles_Edgeworth hmmmm i suppose the best way to describe it is a classic JRPG with turn based combat in the dungeons, usually an amazing soundtrack and story. Outside of dungeons the games tend to revolve around building relationships (social links) with other characters which in turn will build your attributes. Persona 4 is one of the best games ive ever played. If you have a vita i would certainly recommend picking up persona 4 golden. And also check out some videos on youtube to get an idea how it works and plays. One of the best things about persona is that although it tackles dark themes, it also doesnt take itself too seriously.

Nice one, biggest game for me remaining from the initial wave of announcements around ps4s release and just after. That first trailer was one of the best I've ever seen. Bring it on!
Woohoo!! Best news I've heard in ages. So, so happy about this. Not sure if I'll be pre-ordering the fancy editions though. The best bits are the soundtrack, artbook and plush toy but no doubt there will be better versions of all three of those available at a later date. The Japanese 20th anniversary editions looked way better, but oh well.
