Bad news if you were hoping to play as an android in Dragon Ball XenoVerse 2, as it sounds like the upcoming brawler won't be adding any new playable races to the mix. Speaking to Siliconera, producer Masayuki Hirano reveals that the development team "don't have plans" to go beyond the five selectable races that are already present in the first game. To quickly recap, the five existing races are Earthling, Saiyan, Namekian, Majin, and Frieza Clan.
However, Hirano goes on to say that "we are going into each race and expanding the experience with each one". Whether this means that racial bonuses will be more important or that each race will simply have more depth to them, we'll have to wait and see, but either way, it's clear that character creation is being built upon for the sequel.

that's good, maybe now we can get more Buu types such as Small Buu's or Super Buus's
as for the others, not sure how you can expand those apart from more hair styles

I wanted playable androids/cyborgs...
They could add all Freza race transformations, kid and super Buus and maybe great ape and giant Nemakian.
@FullbringIchigo Been playing this game a lot lately. A lot could be done to make the other races, better. Super Nameks, Great Nameks, Red-eye Namekian form, & Giant Form would be good for namekians. Frieza race needs to be able to do multiple transformations. Humans are sol, unless we are talking about a human after age 1000, where humans are able to go Super Saiyan, having become crossbreed with the Saiyan race via Goku and Vegeta's descendants. Saiyan race, I would like to do more than SSJ1, 2, SV(Super Vegeta) 1, 2. Lastly Majin should have base, super, & pure form. The clothing needs more work too. I'd like to be able to change the colors of the saiyan amor to fit my character.
Add all Buu / Frieza transformations and add them as abilities / skills - NOT separate characters.
We need to fix the A.I as well I remember some of the quests the enemy ai constantly spam special and become impossible unless you team up :/

@johnny30 Agreed, the spamming really has to stop, one of the worst aspects of the first game.

I think it would be tough if they would add an android race or even better a deity race like beers
