If playing way too many games has taught us anything, it's that licensed anime fighters can be very hit and miss. For every good Dragon Ball brawler, there are about three relatively rubbish tie-ins, so naturally, we're always trying to keep our hype at reasonable levels when it comes to titles like One Piece: Burning Blood.
Fortunately, there's a way to test the waters this time around. The game's not due out here in the West until the 31st May and the 3rd June in North America and Europe respectively, but you can nab a demo of the PlayStation 4 release right now from the Japanese PlayStation Store. Why not, eh?
Are you looking forward to this frantic fighter? Will you be giving this demo a whirl? Scoff some devil fruit in the comments section below.

YESSSSS! I was so tempted to buy this from a UK seller on Ebay, but this will distract me until the full release!
Ah, cool! I'll give it a go. Could be a great game.
@Speedy67 What do you think of it? It is quite hard to get combos to begin with, but its really solid, I love the ultimate attack manga-style graphics when finishing someone off. Day one buy! (big One Piece fan!)
Wow, I didn't know it was out so soon. I felt like it was going to be out much later this year for some reason. I'll definitely check out the demo.
How to get the demo?
@stocko Gotta say I haven't played it yet! I haven't got around to it but I intend to. Looks good to me — maybe a cool mixture between Unlimited World Red and Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaiichi? I do love how it looks, really does bring the manga to life better than anything I've seen before.
