Dishonored 2 PlayStation 4 PS4

Dishonored 2 was announced for the PlayStation 4 during Bethesda's media briefing last night – much, we suspect, to the surprise of no one. What was a shock, however, is that the title will feature two playable protagonists: Corvo Attano from the original game and Emily Kaldwin. And now, courtesy of some official press material, we can shed a little more light on the release's plot.

The game's set 15 years after the conclusion of the original game – which is getting a PlayStation 4 re-release as well by the way – and deals with an "otherworldly usurper" who has seized the throne from poor Ms. Kaldwin. As either of the two aforementioned characters, you must travel from Dunwall to Karnaca – a coastal city that holds the key to restoring Emily's power.

It sounds like you'll need to adapt your playstyle depending on which character you select; Corvo will still be able to use his blink technique, but, judging by the trailer, Emily will use a kind of grappling hook instead. Hopefully this adds another layer of replayability on top of the original, as routes and strategies adapt depending on which star you select.
