Hideo Kojima may have been pushed out of the limelight of late, but Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will still be getting its customary six minute clip next week. Geoff Keighley, who's fronting YouTube's coverage this year, revealed the tidbit on Twitter, stating that we can expect to see the "exclusive world premiere" on Monday. Never change, Geoff.
Given that the sandbox stealth-'em-up is now mere weeks away from release, we're expecting this to delve a little deeper into many of the foray's finer plot details. Whether the average person will be able to make sense of it all remains to be seen – but how could you not be excited for more Metal Gear? We'll obviously have the full trailer for your viewing pleasure here on Push Square as soon as it's live.

@Neolit Not long to go!
Konami killed my interest in this game.
You should also grab one when you play the game
The Konami/Kojima beef has put a slight dampener on my excitement but we're talking a 1% decrease
This game I am absolutely gagging for. MGS3 is in my top 5 games ever - and the combination of stirring character experiences, graphics, the impressive open world nature of Ground Zeroes and Kojimas' seal of quality has me contemplating the limited edition. The story of Big Boss is arguably the most powerful in all of gaming.
Can't wait
"mere weeks" - I suppose 10 weeks can justify the use of a "weeks" timeline, but isn't 10 a bit of a big number to use the word "mere"? Mere reads like a smaller number to me.
7 minutes? You should live feed comment it. (whatever you call that thing where we comment on the side while watching something live.)
Wait, is it going to be shown as part of the Sony event? The article just says "Monday".
What version do we think they'll show? I'm assuming PS4? Xbox360 probably isn't the way to go.
@rjejr "Mere" is a relative term. Considering we have been waiting awhile for this game, 11 weeks really isn't that much.
Despite the garbage going on at Konami, this game still holds my interest. Metal Gear has always been a shining point, and hopefully Kojima leaves the company in a blaze of glory with this one.
Can't believe it's been 2 years since this trailer:
