Courtesy of today's livestream of the Final Fantasy XV demo, it's been revealed that you'll be able to save and load your progress.
This essentially means that you can stretch out your playtime considerably, provided that you can keep finding new things to do in the demo's sole setting. Still, with an action based combat system that looks highly enjoyable, along with plenty of enemies to slay, we reckon that this early glimpse of the game could actually end up being a decent little standalone release.
Is this good news to you? Do you plan on milking the highly anticipated demo dry? Rest for the night in the comments section below.

"do you plan on milking the highly anticipated demo"
oh yes I do, yes I do
I can see myself sinking a lot of time into this in between bouts of FFT-0.
I've got annual leave that needs using up so will likely be taking 2 days off in the week after release so that I can really absorb myself in both of them!
If they released this as a standalone, I feel like I'd pay between 9.99 and 14.99 for it day one.
Looks great. Which we didn't have to wait any longer though!
Wonder if the old school blip sounds when you click in the main menu to start a new game or load a save file. For continuity I think the same sounds been in since ff6. Also hoping that the micky mouse pointy finger makes a comeback.
Just read that this game is 60% complete, so maybe this game will exist in stores within a year after all...
Provided that progress wasn't all they did since the initial announcement
