Just when we thought that we could settle down for some Champion's League football, Capcom's dropped some big news regarding PlayStation 4 and PC exclusive Street Fighter V. Alongside a new trailer – which we'll get to imminently – it's announced that it will be embarking on "the largest and most ambitious online beta programme in franchise history", with anyone who pre-orders the title in North America guaranteed access. Details in Europe are still forthcoming.
In other news, Charlie Nash will be entering the fray, as rumoured earlier in the year. The bespectacled brawler was last seen in Street Fighter Alpha II, where he was presumed dead. "Nash's return shows that his story is far from over, however," community manager Peter Rosas explained on the PlayStation Blog. The maniacal M. Bison – who's also glimpsed during the closing seconds of the clip – is not going to be best pleased, then.

Guess M. Bison didn't suceed in killing Charlie after all. Glad he'll be playable.
Nash, you might want to get that mark on your dome looked at, bro.
I thought this guy's name was Charlie.
Oh never mind.
I dunno why there's a reference to "SONIC BOOM!"
@KAPADO Charlie Nash
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi Zangief's a popular character, and the main grappler, so I bet he'll make the roster.
@KAPADO
And I thought his last game was Alpha 3, not Alpha 2.
It's hard to get excited for street fighter 5 when to me it looks practically the same as Street fighter 4
