While the PlayStation Vita may not be seeing much love in the West, release dates for Japanese titles keep rolling in. Helping to pad out an empty month is Operation Abyss: New Tokyo Legacy, a dungeon crawler developed by the same studio behind last year's Demon Gaze. Set to deploy both physically and digitally, the title will be released on 14th April in North America and 17th April in Europe, giving you plenty of breathing room to wrap up March's Final Fantasy Type-0 HD.
Set in near future Tokyo, the Xth Squad needs to help rid the city of Variants – genetically modified monsters that won't stop spawning from the Abyss. Of course, you and your handcrafted team must save the world or die trying – literally. Much akin to Demon Gaze, you can create all of your party members from the ground up, in order to build the ultimate fighting team.
Are you looking forward to this venture into the great unknown, or have past experiences left you feeling a little sour? Sign up for the squad in the comments section below.

Lol a trailer full of still images doesn't inspire confidence. I'll pass.

Meh, I'll wait and see on this one.
The theatrics and plot reminds me of Conception II but with Demon Gaze's battle menu....not sure if I'd buy it but at least its another game for the Vita.
