DriveClub PS4 PlayStation 4

PlayStation Store updates can be dreadfully disappointing affairs. You wait all week for them to come around, only to find that there’s nothing in the lineup that you want to buy. We’re confident that that won’t be the case this coming Tuesday, however, as Sony has compiled one of the most exciting software rosters in quite some time. Remember, we’re pulling this information from the PlayStation Blogcast, so this is primarily focused on the North American refresh – but we’re sure that much of the content will launch in Europe, too.

It’s the PlayStation 4 that’s in for the biggest treat, with three new major retail releases up for grabs: DriveClub, Alien: Isolation, and NBA 2K15. Remember, you’ll get a stripped back version of Evolution Studios’ racer for free if you’re a PlayStation Plus member, and you can find out a little more about what that will include through here. Other titles include stealth game Styx: Master of Shadows, as well as PlayStation Plus freebies Dust: An Elysian Tail, Pix the Cat, and Spelunky. Finally, the brilliantly named DiveKick: Addition Edition will be fighting fit next week, too.

Just because all of the big stuff is coming to the PS4, doesn’t mean that there’ll be a lack of content on the PlayStation 3 or Vita either. Cross-buy racing game Jet Car Stunts is due out on both systems, while NBA 2K15 and Alien: Isolation will obviously be available on the PS3. If you’re looking for something new to play on your Vita, then Pix the Cat will be free for PlayStation Plus subscribers there, too, as will the previously released Rainbow Moon. We’ve included the full roster of titles down below, but do let us know what’s caught your interest in the comments section. Tasty!
