"Cheese!"

Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor has been this month's sleeper hit, and the title just keeps getting better. Indeed, it recently received a patch which included a brand new photo mode - similar to the one's found in inFAMOUS: Second Son, and The Last of Us: Remastered - allowing you to take happy snaps of its haunting and gorgeous landscapes. To activate the feature, simply click in the left thumb-stick, and then proceed to fiddle with its many options.

We reckon this recent influx of photo-modes is a brilliant boon, because, if nothing else, they provide an easy and fun way of showing off the shiny new hardware you just dropped a truckload of money on. There's also something oddly therapeutic about closely examining and then artistically photographing every wrinkle and pore on a videogame character's face. Ahem.
