Tetris and Puyo Puyo are arguably two of the best puzzle games ever made, and they're finally coming together in a single package.
Japanese magazine Famitsu has revealed that the forthcoming crossover release will contain versions of each game, but the real twist is the two-player mode. One person will play Tetris while the other tackles Puyo Puyo, but halfway through the match the games will switch.
Puyo Puyo Tetris is currently in development for the PS3 and PS Vita, and is expected to hit Japan next year. There's no word on a western release.

I hope we get a western release, even if we don't I'd say an import of the Vita version is most definetely on the books. That 2 player mode sounds genuinly interesting
YES
Western release pls.
Also that picture of Arle looks more like fanart, unless they are changing the art style yet again.
Stuff like this and Doc. Robotnic's Mean Bean Machine are amazing to play local coop.
This, strangely enough, would be a day one digital download on ps3 for me.
I love Japan.
First I got excited after reading the title, then disappointed after realizing that this probably won't come to the west, then excited again after knowing it's coming to Wii U, and now I'm disappointed because the Wii U is region locked.
So, Sony. One more sale for you.
