The floodgates have well and truly opened. Following last night’s Xbox One reveal, publishers are scrambling to announce their games – not just for Microsoft’s machine, but for Sony’s too. The new Need for Speed is the latest title to sort of join the party. The above screenshot popped up on the series’ Australian Facebook hub, hinting at an imminent reveal.
The title – which is almost certainly parking on the PlayStation 4 – is thought to be in development at new studio EA Gothenburg. The racer will supposedly take advantage of the publisher’s new Frostbite technology, which will no doubt culminate in some stunning visuals. Are you looking forward to more Need for Speed? Wooow, very nice
I never played the series before, and as far as car games are concerned, I'm looking forward to playing Driveclub.
PS3 Hot Pursuit is the best NFS game in the series for me. Most Wanted is great, but it's just a better fleshout Burnout Paradise. Give me more cops & robbers and I'm in.
Ea had there name on it, it's crap without having to play it
