Don't look back in anger

Drinkbox Studios’ delightful Mexican wrestler-themed Metroidvania adventure Guacamelee! will piledrive the PlayStation 3 and Vita on 9th April in North America and 10th April in Europe. The title puts you behind the luchador mask of a humble agave farmer named Juan Aguacate, who learns that he has a knack for wrestling moves when he embarks on a quest to rescue El Presidente’s Daughter from the clutches of an Evil Charro Skeleton.

As with most other cross-platform releases these days, the title will support cross-buy, meaning that you’ll only need to pay once to play the game on both the PS3 and Vita. Given the scale of the release, it will also boast a Platinum Trophy, promising plenty of bang for your buck. Sadly, there’s no word on a European price point just yet, but the title will cost $14.99 in North America.
