If the recently released Retro City Rampage didn’t quite satisfy your hunger for throwback bedlam, then perhaps indie smash-hit Hotline Miami will quell your thirst instead. Jonatan Söderström, the developer behind the twisted PC release, has revealed to Pocket Gamer that his team has been talking to Sony about the possibility of bringing the stylish brawler to the various PlayStation platforms – including, of course, the Vita.

However, the creator did caution that it might take a while before the title arrives on any other systems. "We would need someone to port it for us," he revealed. Whether or not Sony decides to do the heavy lifting for the small studio remains to be seen. Regardless, considering the platform holder's current commitment to innovative digital content, we wouldn’t be surprised to see the title prompt a bloodbath on the PlayStation Network at some point down the line.
