The helicopter doesn't stand a chance

Treyarch has pulled back the curtain on some of its Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 experiences, including working with Hollywood writers and big name musicians. Predictably, there's high praise a-plenty.

Screenwriter David S. Goyer, who worked on Batman Begins and Blade, is involved in writing Black Ops 2's story. Goyer describes the plot as possibly "better than most movies that are being made" — if he does say so himself — and notes that the team approached it as if it was a "big event movie" — a summer blockbuster, in other words.

Mr Nine Inch Nails and Oscar winner Trent Reznor is behind the score. He explains that he's working on Black Ops 2 as he now views games to be "every bit as viable as film work or music".

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will troop out on 13th November.
