Chances are if you only know the name of one Call of Duty multiplayer map, it’ll be Nuketown. The popular Call of Duty: Black Ops layout has an immense following, and looks set to make a return appearance in the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.
According to information obtained from a variety of retail sources, the map will be offered as a pre-order bonus for those registering their interest in the upcoming blockbuster shooter. Apparently, it’ll be re-imagined for the future, and renamed Nuketown 2025. Presumably the layout will stay roughly the same, but the art will change.
Activision's refused to comment on the speculation, but expect an official announcement soon.
